A sunny and not too cold day of October is the perfect occasion to put on my fave sweater. This awesome sweater from the casual, minimalist and super chic Montreal brand Hutchison is the best piece to wear when you want to spend an afternoon chilling with your friends or having brunch but you still want to look comfy, cool and trendy. Here are some images of my outfit for a cool autumn afternoon. Hope you like it! ;)

Un día de Octubre soleado y no muy frío ideal para llevar mi suéter de Hutchison, una marca casual minimalista y muy chic que me encanta. Una prenda perfecta para pasar una tarde entre amigos o para irse de brunch y al mismo tiempo verte cool, cómoda y muy a la moda. Nothing more exciting than planning a day of shopping and choosing the best outfit for long hours of visiting stores and trying on new clothes. The first thing that I think about it when deciding what to wear is shoes. They have to be beautiful, comfortable, easy to take off and to put back on. That's why I decided to wear my Caeli Qartel moccasins. These shoes are 100% leather and they're lovely handcrafted in Colombia. When I first saw these moccasins I liked their original and modern design. They are so comfortable that you could walk for hours without any problems. In today's post I matched them with a black leather overall and a terracotta merino sweater, my fave colour this season. Let's go $hopping! :) Here are some images. Hope you like it! ;)

No hay nada mas excitante que planear un día de compras y por supuesto pensar en el look que vas a llevar este día, por supuesto siempre pienso en vestir algo cómodo y fácil de quitar para hacer mas fácil la tarea cuando de probarse ropa se trata, en lo primero que pienso es en unos buenos zapatos que aguanten la jornada de largas caminadas. Es por eso que para este día no lo pensé dos veces y decidí llevar mis mocasines de Caeli Qartel. Estos lindos zapatos confeccionados a la mano y con mucho amor en Colombia están hechos de 100% cuero y no solo son como unos guantes a tus pies, sino que llevan un diseño muy original y moderno, la verdad me encantaron cuando los vi por primera vez y mas aun cuando sentí la suavidad al llevarlos. Hoy los combiné con un overall de cuero y este lindo suéter en lana merino color terracota uno de mis colores favoritos de la temporada. Aquí les dejo las imágenes. Espero les guste! ;)

Here is the last outfit of this series of looks that I wore to attend some events here in my beloved Montreal. To create the 70's inspired outfit I put on a long sleeve shirt, jackard skirt in terracotta, black and camel tones and this beautiful waistcoat in suede a gift from my sister that I love :) Hope you like it! ;)

Aquí les traigo el último look que usé para llevar durante uno de mis tantos eventos de moda. Look inspiración setentera, compuesto por blusa de manga larga, falda en jackard en tonos terracota, camel y negro y este precioso chaleco en suede regalo de mi hermana que me encantó :) Espero les guste! ;)

This is the outfit that I wore for my second event B Fashion Party. I have to confess that I'm not a big fan of buying clothes in huge stores. I prefer small boutiques with exclusive items moreover I don't like to spend an eternity doing huge lines to pay or to try on. Nevertheless I was surprised when I visited one of those mega stores and I found a trendy sweater at a very reasonable price. I didn't think twice! Here I'm wearing it with culottes pants, flats and a fashionable hat. A very comfortable look. Hope you like it! ;)

Este fue el outfit que usé para el B Fashion Party. Debo confesar que no soy muy amiga de comprar ropa en las grandes boutiques, me gusta mucho la exclusividad y no tener que pasar largas horas buscando ese item perfecto o haciendo largas colas. Sin embargo me sorprendí al entrar a una de estas tiendas y encontrar este suéter súper trendy y sobretodo muy favorable así que no pensé dos veces en obtenerlo. Aquí lo llevo con culottes pants, flats y sombrero de moda. Un look ideal y muy cómodo para el segundo evento que tuve la semana pasada. Espero les guste! ;)

Hello my "Walk-ins"

Last week was full of Fashion events as it is becoming the norm here in Montreal. First I attended the Urban Connection Shopping evening at La Maison Ogilvy. I loved it because it was fun and at the same time we were contributing for Dress for Success an organization helping women reintegrate the job market (10% of the profits went to this association) My second event was a very special invitation from my friends of Blue Mustach who were presenting their beautiful collection at B Fashion Party.  By the way stay tuned for my upcoming collaboration with this awesome French brand. Finally, I was invited  to the Pajar Canada Annual Fashion show where they showcased their FW 2016 collection inspired by the spirit of Pajar Canadian's Heritage. Beautiful and luxury clothing, shoes and accessories perfect for the Winter ahead of us. Looking forward to put on all those amazing pieces. Meanwhile I still can wear some transitional looks because we're having some nice weather lately, I wish temperatures could stay the same forever... Here some images of my first look. La semana pasada fue llena de eventos de moda como se está volviendo la norma aquí en Montreal. Al primero que asistí fue a la tarde de compras Urban Connection en La Maison Ogilvy. Me encantó porque además de ser un evento súper divertido y Fashion también al comprar allí estábamos contribuyendo para Dress for Success un organismo que ayuda a las mujeres a recomenzar su búsqueda de empleo (10% de los beneficios de las ventas van para este organismo). Mi segundo evento fue una invitación muy especial de mis amigos de Blue Mustach para la presentación de su hermosa colección en el B Fashion Party. Estén pendientes que muy pronto podrán ver mi nueva colaboración con esta súper cool marca francesa. Finalmente fui invitada al show anual de Pajar Canada donde presentaron su colección Otoño-Invierno 2016 inspirada de la herencia canadiense de la marca. Hermosas y lujosas prendas, accesorios y zapatos perfectos para el invierno que está tocando a la puerta. La verdad estoy ansiosa de llevar sus prendas durante los días de frío. Mientras tanto puedo continuar y lucir algunos outfits de transición aprovechando el clima clemente que todavía estamos teniendo. Ojalá y estas temperaturas nunca se fueran... Angel Sanchez at NYFW

I was more than excited to attend the Angel Sanchez runway in NYFW. I have always been a fan of the incredibly talented Venezuelan designer and seeing his masterpieces in the runway was a dream come true. As usual Angel Sanchez surprised the audience with his beautiful Cayena Tropical Couture "Inspired by the exuberant flower of the Caribbean; the Cayena – also known as the Hibiscus". The beautiful colour palette that he used for his SS16 collection included grass green, citrus yellow, mango orange and fuchsia, just the perfect tonalities for the next Spring and Summer seasons. White was also used as "a symbol of the purity of the (Caribbean) islands". Some of my fave pieces included a white strapless jumpsuit, a white and fuchsia floral printed silk dress and a green silk gauze gown. Definitely pieces to die for! Uno de los desfiles que más ganas de asistir tenía durante la Semana de Moda de New York era el del gran diseñador Ángel Sánchez. Siempre he sido una gran admiradora de este talentosisimo diseñador venezolano y ver sus creaciones en un desfile fue un sueño hecho realidad. Como es habitual Ángel Sánchez sorprendió con su Cayena Tropical Couture "inspirada de la exuberante flor del Caribe: La Cayena, también conocida como La Hibiscus". La hermosa paleta de colores utilizada para la Colección Primavera-Verano 2016 incluyó colores como el verde pasto, amarillo cítrico, mango naranja y fucsia las tonalidades perfectas para la próxima Primavera y Verano. El blanco también fue incluido como "un símbolo a la pureza de las islas del Caribe". Algunas de mis piezas favoritas fueron un jumpsuit strapless blanco, un vestido de seda con un print floral blanco y fucsia y un gown (bata) verde en seda. Definitivamente piezas que moriría por tener en mi guardarropa! Aquí les dejo algunas imágenes de este fabuloso desfile. Espero les guste! ;)

Every time that I visit Boutique L'Actuel I go back home with a bunch of items. In this chic and exclusive boutique you'll always find fantastic coats, blouses, pants, skirts and one of a kind accessories from select local and international brands. Actually in Boutique L'Actuel I discovered Maison Scotch, an European brand that match perfectly my style. Today I'm wearing a Maison Scotch monochromatic look ideal for this season. I put on a stars-print sweater and a black leather pants that fit awesome! Cada vez que visito la Boutique L'Actuel no puedo evitar salir con varias prendas. La verdad este lugar es una verdadera caverna de Ali Babá donde encuentras de todo, desde hermosos abrigos, blusas, pantalones, faldas hasta accesorios súper exclusivos que complementan perfectamente tus atuendos. Allí pueden encontrar diferentes marcas locales e internacionales. Fue aquí donde hace poco descubrí la marca Maison Scotch una marca europea que se identifica perfectamente con mi estilo. Hoy llevo un look monocromático ideal para el Otoño: suéter de estrellas, un estampado que me enamoró y pantalón en cuero que horma perfectamente al cuerpo. Los invito a que se den una visita por esta tienda y vean con sus propios ojos todas las cosas lindas que ofrece este lugar.
