I met Patricia Wong and her beautiful accessories at the Buyers and Press Brunch during Toronto MasterCard Fashion Week. To tell you the truth I was impressed by her original and beautiful jewellery. Patricia Wong is a Toronto based jewellery designer with a bachelor of Design and Metalsmithing from OCDA University. I never thought about wearing a so elegant square ring or bracelet. The fascinating geometric three-dimensions forms of Patricia Wong's creations captured my attention right away and the use of luxury and high quality materials like gold, silver and gemstones made her collection even more attractive. In her own words "The Jewellarium collection is a series of work inspired by the idea of body adornment as an object, which exists at the intersection between sculpture and architecture". And finding that perfect intersection between sculpture and architecture is what made her statement-making pieces so unique and irresistible. For my collaboration with Patricia Wong Jewellery I styled three different sets of her Jewellarium Collection. I wore each set with a different outfit looking for the best way to match accessories and clothes. For this first look I decided to wear green not only an ideal colour for this Christmas season but also a perfect match for the green gemstones in the jewellery set. Conocí a la diseñadora Patricia Wong y sus hermosas creaciones en un evento Media durante la Semana de la Moda de Toronto. La verdad quedé impactada con sus diseños tan exclusivos y originales. Patricia Wong es una diseñadora de joyas radicada en la ciudad de Toronto y que realizó estudios en Diseño y Orfebrería en la Universidad OCDA. Por cierto nunca me imaginé llevar un anillo o una pulsera cuadrada tan elegantes. Sus creaciones en forma geométrica y dando la idea de 3D o imágenes surdimensionadas fue lo que más me llamó la atención de su colección y por supuesto los materiales de lujo y alta calidad que utiliza, en su mayoría oro, plata, perlas y otras piedras preciosas. Como ella misma lo expresa "Esta colección Jewellarium es una serie de trabajos inspirados de la idea de tomar el adorno del cuerpo como un objeto que se encuentra en la intersección entre la escultura y la arquitectura". Y yo creo que encontrar esa perfecta intersección entre escultura y arquitectura es lo que hace que sus increíbles joyas sean tan únicas e irresistibles. Durante mi colaboración con esta diseñadora usé tres atuendos diferentes los cuales traté de combinar lo mejor posible según el tipo de accesorios y sus colores. Para este primer look escogí llevar esta linda falda verde pues es un color muy navideño ideal para la época y además porque combinaba perfecto con el verde oscuro y el dorado de este aderezo. Un look elegante y moderno que podrían llevar para la cena de Navidad por ejemplo. Last summer during the Montreal Mode & Design Festival I had the pleasure to meet Guy Pontal Designer and Artistic Director of the French Brand Blue Mustach. When they asked me to collaborate with their super chic and refined brand I didn't hesitate one minute. I fell in love with the minimalistic, sophisticated and sexy style of the label and the high quality materials they use. In today's post I'm wearing their Robe Nocturne. I really love this beautiful LBD because is classy and modern but sexy at the same time. Just the perfect garment to wear on a night out. Blue Mustach new collections have an air futuristic and sportive but keep the elegance and originality proper to the brand. Este Verano durante el Festival de Moda & Diseño de Montreal tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Guy Pontal Diseñador y Director Artístico de la marca francesa Blue Mustach. Cuando me propusieron colaborar con su súper chic y refinada marca no lo dude un instante. Me encantó el estilo minimalista, sofisticado y sexy de Blue Mustach y sobre todo la calidad de los materiales que utilizan. En el post de hoy estoy vistiendo su Robe Nocturne. Balmain x H&M a successfully Madness

The first week of November the Balmain x H&M collection dropped at stores worldwide. If you're a Fashionista you certainly know what I'm taking about ;) To promote this collaboration H&M developed a bold and effective marketing campaign featuring new fashion super stars Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid and Balmain Paris creative director Olivier Rousteing putting all the resources necessaries to make this collection a success. And if we judge by the videos of people running inside stores to get their hands in one of the Balmain x H&M pieces we have to say that the collection was definitely an enormous success. I was invited to the Balmain x H&M VIP preview here in Montreal the night before it went on sale and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw people standing outside the store making the line and ready to spent the night there just to be the first ones to enter the store when it opens its doors the next day. Wow! I imagine H&M is very happy with the way people is responding to their capsule collections. Here are the pictures with some of the Balmain x H&M items I bought during this exclusive event. La primera semana de Noviembre fue el lanzamiento mundial de la colección Balmain x H&M. Si eres una Fashionista seguro que sabes de lo que estoy hablando ;) Para promover su nueva colección H&M desarrolló una campaña publicitaria audaz y efectiva usando como protagonistas a las nuevas súper estrellas de la moda Kendall Jenner y Gigi Hadid y al director creativo de Balmain Paris, Olivier Rousteing usando todos los recursos necesarios para que esta nueva colaboración fuera un enorme éxito. Y si juzgamos por los vídeos de las personas corriendo en las tiendas para lograr adquirir aunque fuera una de las valiosas piezas de esta colección podríamos asegurar que lo fue. Aquí en la ciudad de Montreal estuve invitada a la Pre-venta exclusiva de Balmain x H&M la noche antes de que saliera en venta al público y me quedé sorprendida al llegar a la tienda y ver que había ya gente haciendo la fila y dispuestos a pasar toda la noche allí solo para poder entrar de primeros al día siguiente cuando la tienda abriera sus puertas. Wow! Me imagino que H&M debe estar muy feliz con los excelentes resultados que sus colecciones con grandes diseñadores han tenido. Los días cada vez se van poniendo más fríos pues empezamos lentamente la transición del Otoño al Invierno. Entonces para esos días hermosos y soleados pero ventosos y fríos y en los cuales queremos salir y disfrutar recorriendo la ciudad no hay nada mejor que un confortable y elegante abrigo. En la publicación de hoy estoy vistiendo mi nuevo abrigo de Bäng Couture, una marca de la ciudad de Montreal que me encanta, es contemporánea, sofisticada, descomplicada pero elegante al mismo tiempo. Chic Picnic at CF Promenades St-Bruno

Last week I was invited to visit the recently renovated Food Court of the Carrefour Promenades Saint-Bruno at Montreal's South Shore. During this "Chic-picnic" we had the occasion to taste the great variety of food offered at the mall. From Italian and Thai dishes to salads and American food you have a huge variety of choices to tackle your hunger while shopping. And if you like pastries it's also an excellent place to try the tempting and delicious desserts. After out bellies were full we had the occasion to visit some stores and appreciate the new merchandise arriving for this holiday season. I really love the new make over of the CF Promenades St-Bruno. The mall looks bigger, brighter and modern. Definitely a place I will visit for my next shopping spreads! La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de asistir a un evento organizado por el Carrefour Promenades Saint-Bruno ubicado en la Rivera Sur de Montreal, quien recientemente remodeló sus instalaciones en especial su área de restauración y el pasado miércoles fue la presentación oficial de este. Fue una especie de picnic donde tuvimos la oportunidad de degustar deliciosas comidas todas provenientes de cada uno de los negocios que se encuentran allí. Desde comida italiana, tailandesa, pollo americano, ricas ensaladas y por supuesto suculentos postres fueron servidos. Y lo mejor de todo después de disfrutar de todos estos manjares luego pudimos disfrutar de un recorrido por las tiendas que la verdad invitan a ir de shopping sobre todo las nuevas colecciones que llegan para la época navideña. La verdad me encantó este nuevo concepto y esta nueva cara del Centro Comercial CF Promenades St-Bruno, mas grande, moderno y muy iluminado, de seguro será mi primera destinación a la hora de comprar.
