Last year I attended Le Chåteau preview of the 2016 spring collection where I spotted this beautiful pair of sandals. Since then I've been waiting to get my hands on these babes. The lovely 70's inspired shoes will perfectly complement a trendy boho chic outfit as well as any spring or summer look. For instance in today's post I'm wearing these sandals with a white Off the shoulder blouse and denim culotte pants. A great outfit to enjoy the sunny days of May. Here some images. El año pasado asistí a la presentación de la colección de primavera 2016 de Le Chåteau. Fue allí donde descubrí las hermosas sandalias que llevo hoy. Desde entonces he estado esperando el momento de poder tenerlas. Estas lindas sandalias de inspiración de los años 70 de tacón ideal y lindo color son perfectas para lucir con un atuendo boho chic que esta tan de moda o con cualquier otro atuendo de primavera o verano. Hoy por ejemplo decidí llevarlas con una blusa escotada blanca y unos pantalones culotte en denim. Un excelente look para disfrutar de los días soleados de Mayo. Aquí les dejo las imágenes. As you may have noticed on my Blog and on my social accounts I'm a big Art Fan. I love to go the ballet, go to music festivals or just walk around looking for that unique old building or that beautiful door. Always recognizing the immense talent of the artists behind such incredible works. I often try to incorporate that vision of uniqueness into every part of my life from my pictures to my home. Lately I've been redecorating my apartment. I started with a room that became Eli in the Walk-in head-office ;) and then I revamped my walk-in. Como lo han podido notar en mi Blog y en mis redes sociales soy una gran admiradora del Arte. Me encanta ir al ballet, asistir a festivales de música, visitar galerías de arte y museos o simplemente caminar en busca de hermosos edificios antiguos o de aquellas puertas de antaño. Siempre reconociendo el inmenso talento de los artistas que concibieron tan increíbles obras. Así que trato de incorporar esa visión de singularidad y de exclusividad en todas las cosas que hago desde mi Blog hasta mi hogar. Últimamente he estado re-decorando mi apartamento. Comencé con una pequeña habitación que se convertiría en la Oficina principal de Eli in the Walk-in ;) y luego continué con mi amado Walk-in. I'm always looking around for the latest trends on shoes. I love the game of finding which items will make fashion headlines. Sometimes I follow the trends sometimes I opt for a different direction. The model of spring sandals that I'm wearing in today's post caught my eye a couple of months ago and since then I've seen it adopted by a variety of brands. Definitely a trendy pair of sandals for spring and summer. I was a little concerned with how comfy the sandals would be but when I saw them in GEOX all my worries disappeared. The New Callie GEOX sandals are the perfectly trendy and comfy pair of shoes that every fashionista must have in her walk-in this spring. I completed my outfit with a super sexy lace crop top, white chinos and black leather jacket. Hope you like it! ;)

Les cuento que siempre me gusta estar buscando las últimas tendencias en zapatos. Me encanta el juego de descubrir cuáles serán los ítems que veremos en las primeras páginas de las revistas de moda. Algunas veces sigo las tendencias otras veces prefiero seguir una dirección diferente. El modelo de sandalias que llevo hoy me gusta mucho, hace unos meses atrás lo vi por primera vez, desde entonces he notado que varias marcas lo han adoptado a sus colecciones. Definitivamente un estilo muy tendencia para esta primavera y verano. Lo único que me intrigaba un poco era que estos zapatos no fueran los suficientemente cómodos para caminar con ellos. Pero cuando los vi en GEOX todas mis preocupaciones desaparecieron. A memorable Gala with Les Grands Ballets

I Love Art! It's always been a part of me and I consider Fashion as a form of expression like music, painting or dance. That's why I never hesitate when I get invited to art related activities. Last month I had the great pleasure of covering Les Grandes Ballets Canadiens de Montreal's 2016 Benefit Gala. It was so incredible to see 800 guests gather together to help Les Grandes Ballets Canadiens de Montreal raise funds to support their fantastic creations. Honorary co-presidents of the 2016 Gala Martin Thibodeau, President, RBC Royal Bank, and Mathieu Duguay, President, COGIR did an amazing job helping raise more than 800.000$ surpassing this year fundraising goal by more than 100.000$. Chapeau to them! 

2016 is a very special year for the dance company. Besides celebrating its 60th anniversary, 2016 will mark the end of a glorious era at Les Grandes Ballets, its beloved director for the past 17 years, Gradimir Pankov, is retiring at the end of the season. Ivan Cavallari has been appointed as the new Artistic Director and will begin his mandate in 2017. A time of farewells and new directions. The amazing evening started with cocktails then we move to the principal room inside the Uniprix Stadium where we treated like royalty. Delicious and fancy dinner, champagne and of course some beautiful dance excerpts from La Lueur de l'Aube by Ken Ossola. The night finished with a party where all the guests had the opportunity to dance too! It was an incredible event and if next year you have the opportunity to attend it and contribute to the excellent creations of Les Grandes Ballets Canadiens de Montreal don't miss it. I'm pretty sure you will have the time of your life! ;)

Côté Fashion... It is always difficult to decide what to wear for Galas. You know you must look elegant but at the same time you want to be as comfy as possible to survive the long hours, enjoy the evening and dance away! So I decided to wear a sexy and comfy black knit dress and I matched it with a black small choker, an animal print Michael Kors clutch and my loubies. A simple, elegant and attractive all black outfit! Here are some images. Hope you like it! ;)

Amo el Arte! Siempre ha sido parte de mi vida y considero la moda como una forma de expresión artística como lo es la música, la pintura o la danza. Por eso nunca lo pienso dos veces cuando me invitan a eventos relacionados con arte. El mes pasado tuve el placer de cubrir la Gala Benéfica de Les Grandes Ballets Canadiens de Montreal. Fue increíble ver más de 800 personas reunidas para recoger fondos para financiar las creaciones de Les Grandes Ballets. Los Co-Presidentes Honorarios de este año 2016 Martin Thibodeau, Presidente de RBC Royal Bank, y Mathieu Duguay, Presidente de COGIR hicieron un trabajo increíble al recoger más de 800.000$ sobrepasando incluso el objetivo inicial fijado por más de 100.000$. Mis mas sinceras felicitaciones!

2016 es un año especial para la compañía de baile. Además de celebrar su 60 aniversario, este será el último año de su querido director artístico Gradimir Pankov, quien estuvo durante los últimos 17 años. Ivan Cavallari ha sido nombrado como nuevo Director Artístico y entrará en función en 2017. Podríamos decir que será un año de despedidas y de nuevas aventuras. La noche empezó con cocteles antes de entrar al salón principal en el Estadio Uniprix de Montreal donde nos trataron como reinas. Nos esperaba una deliciosa y suntuosa comida, champagne y por supuesto una presentación de los bailarines del ballet que interpretaron algunos pasajes tomados de La Lueur de l'Aube de Ken Ossola. La noche terminó con una fiesta donde los invitados nos tomamos la pista de baile. Fue una noche increíble y si el próximo año tienen la oportunidad de asistir y colaborar con Les Grandes Ballets Canadiens de Montreal no se lo pueden perder. Les aseguro que pasarán una noche inolvidable.

Ahora hablando un poco de moda siempre es complicado decidir qué ponerte para un Gala. Sabes que tienes que estar elegante pero al mismo tiempo deseas estar lo más cómoda posible para poder resistir las largas horas, disfrutar el evento y bailar toda la noche. Por eso decidí llevar este sexy y muy confortable vestido en tejido negro y lo completé con mi clutch en animal print de Michael Kors y mis lobbies. Un look en negro simple, elegante y atractivo. Espero les guste! ;)

A raincoat actually made for rainy days

Every spring raincoats become the indispensable piece in our wardrobes. Temperatures begin to raise and our coats go back to the walk-in (I'm pretty sure we all love that feeling of putting away our winter coats). But we know that spring will bring some cooler and rainy days and raincoats are the perfect piece to face them. When going through the LAMARQUE collection I fell in love with this awesome not-at-all your typical raincoat. I love the contemporary vibe on this legendary spring piece particularly the hood which makes the raincoat perfect to face those rainy days. It's actually really helpful in Montreal where quite often umbrellas are turned inside-out and destroyed by strong gusts of wind. I matched this awesome water resistant LAMARQUE raincoat with leather leggings and black booties to create another outfit in black and camel my fave spring colour combination. Hope you like it! ;)

Cada primavera los impermeables se convierten en la pieza indispensable a tener en nuestros guardarropas. Las temperaturas comienzan a subir y por ende los abrigos se van para nuestro closet. (Estoy segura que a todas nos encanta ese instante en que debemos guardar nuestro abrigos de invierno), pero sabemos que habrán días fríos y lluviosos y que una gabardina es nuestra principal aliada para enfrentarlos. Cuando estuve mirando la colección de LAMARQUE me enamoré de este hermoso y súper diferente raincoat. Es una versión moderna de esta legendaria pieza tan necesaria en los días primaverales y su capucha un elemento obligado para soportar los días lluviosos. Es súper útil sobre todo aquí en Montreal donde los paraguas siempre pierden la guerra con las ráfagas de viento y los vemos muy seguido destruidos adornando los paisajes de la ciudad. Hoy llevé esta linda prenda de LAMARQUE con leggings negras y botines del mismo color para crear un atuendo en negro y camel, la combinación de colores perfecta para esta Primavera. Today's post is all about this beautiful LAMARQUE waistcoat. The ideal transitional piece to wear with pants, skirts, dresses or my favourite piece this time around: culottes! We could say spring 16 is Waistcoat time. I can't stop buying them... Have them in white, black, floral, stripes, crazy prints, etc. I guess we can call it obsession! So when I saw this beautiful LAMARQUE suede waistcoat in camel I couldn't resist myself. I styled it with black culottes and stilettos. Black and Camel is my fave spring combination. This outfit is great to go to the office, to an important meeting, to a fashion show or even to a romantic dinner and let everybody see the #GIRLBOSS in you. Hope you like it! ;)

La pieza clave del post de hoy es este hermoso chaleco de LAMARQUE, la prenda de transición ideal para esta primavera. La podemos llevar con pantalones, faldas, vestidos y mi preferido por estos días: culottes. Esta se puede decir que es la época de los chalecos largos, desde que compré el primero, no puedo parar de seguir comprando y haciendo looks con ellos, los tengo en negro, blanco, de flores, de rayas y otros estampados, la verdad ando obsesionada con ellos, por esta razón este chaleco camel en gamuza de LAMARQUE no pasó desapercibido a mis ojos y no dude en escogerlo y estilizarlo con culottes de cuero y tacones. Camel y negro es mi combinación perferida de la Primavera. Un look que puede llevarse desde la oficina, una reunión de negocios, un desfile de moda, hasta una cita romántica o entre amigos.
