When I went to the GEOX store to discover their Fall collection I was thinking about getting a pair of booties or boots for the cold season ahead, but instead I found this glamorous ballerinas from a special capsule collection signed Geox by Patrick Cox. Patrick Cox is a Canadian designer based in Toronto who specializes in shoes, accessories and other leather pieces. He is recognized for the use of exclusive and unique materials and for incorporating classical and contemporary designs into his collections. And it is evident in my new ballerinas: a classic sandals design with a modern touch of faux-fur that made them unique and irresistible! I also new I could match them with different outfits so getting them was a no brainer! In today's outfit I match them with my new velvet military jacket (very trendy this Fall!) and skinny pants. Cuando fui a la tienda de GEOX a descubrir su nueva colección de Otoño iba con la idea de escoger unos lindos zapatos, en mi mente solo tenía la idea de botines o botas tan necesarias para la nueva temporada, pero me encontré con estas súper glamour ballerinas, una colección especial de Geox by Patrick Cox, un diseñador canadiense establecido en Toronto que se especializa en la creación de zapatos, accesorios y otros artículos de cuero. Este es notablemente conocido por el uso de materiales únicos en sus creaciones además de mezclar diseños clásicos con diseños un poco más avant-gardistes. Y es evidente en este modelo que escogí, unas ballerinas clásicas con un adorno en faux-fur un diseño muy moderno que de verdad captó mi atención de inmediato y no dudé en adquirirlo, pues estaba segura que podía combinarlas con infinidad de atuendos sin dejar de verme chic y sentirme súper cómoda. Hoy los llevé con mi nuevo jacket estilo militar en terciopelo muy tendencia para el Otoño y pantalones skinny. Aquí las imágenes. Espero les guste! ;)

Probably all of you have a dress in your closet that you love deeply and even though you bought it some time ago you are always looking for an excuse to wear it again. I packed this white and black plaid dress in my suitcase not sure when exactly I was going to put it on. Day 3 of London Fashion Week gave me the perfect excuse! ;) I had a couple of shows on that day and the weather was really nice. I matched my beloved dress with a leather jacket, a black choker and my comfortable sandals from GEOX. Here some images! Hope you like it! ;)

Probablemente algunas de ustedes tienen ese vestido que les encanta así lo hayan comprado hace mucho tiempo atrás pero siempre tienen una excusa para ponérselo. Este vestido a cuadros lo metí en mi maleta sin saber cuando me lo iba a poner. El día 3 de London Fashion Week fue la excusa perfecta para llevarlo, la verdad ya me lo había puesto durante la semana de la moda de Toronto pero en Londres lo estilicé diferente un look más otoñal jacket de cuero, choker y sandalias de GEOX. Un look encantador para otro día de Fashion en Londres. Aquí las imágenes. Espero les guste! ;)

Definitely one of the biggest Summer-Fall transition trends in 2016 is jumpers. We see them everywhere in a variety of colours, lengths and styles. I remember that my mother sewed me a white jumper with red pockets when I was little  and in high school our uniform was a pleated blue jumper that I loved to death :) I guess this trend will be adopted again and again. For my second LFW look I chose this black jumper dress with trendy pompons. I matched it with a white turtle neck and long knee boots. An outfit perfect for a busy day 2 in London Fashion Week. Una de mis tendencias favoritas para la época de transición del Verano al Otoño fue definitivamente los jumpers, en todos los colores, texturas, cortos o largos los vemos desfilar en las calles y es que la verdad esta ha sido una tendencia que me ha gustado desde siempre. Cuando era niña mi mamá me hizo uno blanco con bolsillos rojos que no puedo olvidar y no sin dejar de mencionar mi uniforme del cole que era un lindo jumper de cuadros azules y pliegues divino que llevaba siempre implacable. La verdad creo que esta tendencia pasara de generación en generación. Para mi segundo look during LFW escogí este vestido jumper negro con pompones de adorno también muy tendencia en esta época. Lo combiné con un cuello tortuga y botas arriba de las rodillas, un look comfy y chic tan necesario para este arduo día en London Fashion Week. Aquí las imágenes. Espero les guste ;)

I have to admit that London is a magical city. I will never forget the moment I got off the tube at Piccadilly Circus.  It was love at first sight. Most of the Fashion Action during London Fashion Week took place around Piccadilly Circus. I had a lot of shows and presentations during the first day of LFW so I knew I needed to be elegant but comfortable enough to go from one place to another. I put on a very chic and trendy Le Château trench coat to fight the rain, I also opted for my elegant and comfortable boots from Marc Fisher and of course my umbrella from Target that became one of my favourites and more useful accessories during my time in beautiful and rainy London. Tengo que admitir que Londres es una ciudad mágica. Nunca olvidaré el momento en que salí del metro hacia Piccadilly Circus. Fue amor a primera vista. La mayoría de las actividades de moda de la Semana de moda de Londres se llevaron a cabo alrededor de este sitio. El primer día de LFW tuve muchos desfiles y presentaciones así que sabía que debía estar elegante pero lo más cómoda posible para poder estar viajando de un lugar a otro. Por esto me puse mi trendy trench coat de Le Château para protegerme de la lluvia, y decidí llevar mis botas de Marc fisher que son elegantes pero al mismo tiempo no me cansan mucho cuando tengo que caminar largas distancias. Por supuesto también llevé mi sombrilla de Target que se convertiría en uno de mis más preciados accesorios durante mi tiempo en la hermosa pero lluviosa ciudad de Londres. As soon as we see leaves falling off the threes we know bootie season is upon us. October is the month where temperatures begin to go down and we start to put on more clothes to fight chilly mornings and nights. 

I've always wanted a pair of taupe booties but it was really difficult to find the perfect ones. Sometimes I liked the style but not the colour or if I found the perfect tone I wasn't hot about the look :( 

But finally last week I went shoe-shopping to Le Château and I got my ideal pair of tope booties. For this shoot I matched them with boyfriend jeans and a feel-like cashmere sweater. A cool outfit for this Fall season. Hope you like it! ;)

Tan pronto como comienzan a caer las hojas de los  árboles nos damos cuenta que la temporada de las botas está llegando. Octubre es un mes donde las temperaturas comienzan a descender y entonces nos obligamos a llevar más ropa para afrontar las mañanas y las noches más frías. 

Desde hace tiempo he querido comprarme unas botas color taupe pero no ha sido fácil encontrarlas. Si las veo en un color que me gusta, el modelo no es tan bonito y si el estilo me gusta el tono no tanto, complicado! :(

Finalmente la semana pasada me fui en búsqueda de zapatos a Le Château y encontré estas botas en el color que estaba buscando. Hoy las llevo con boyfriend jeans y un sweater tan suave que parece cashmere. Aquí las imágenes. Espero les guste! ;)

You guys know I'm a brunch lover. Here in Montreal I'm always looking for cafés or restaurants offering delicious breakfast and when I'm traveling I love to discover new places and flavours. I think breakfast is the more important meal of the day. An excellent brunch is the best way to start your day. While in London I visited the Notting Hill district a beautiful place near central London with breathtaking architecture, colourful facades, shops and great restaurants. Here I discovered the amazing Farm Girl Cafe located on Portobello Avenue. This lovely place offers a delicious brunch menu, have an amazing deco and it's the perfect spot if you love taking pictures to post on Pinterest or Instagram. So if you're in London this should be a mandatory stop! Here some images of my visit to Farm Girl and later on you will be able to check my new video to know more details about my experience. Los que me conocen saben muy bien que soy amante de los Brunchs. Aquí en Montreal me mantengo buscando lugares donde encontrar los más suculentos y exquisitos desayunos y cuando estoy de viaje aún más. Siempre estoy a la búsqueda de la comida más importante del día. Un buen brunch hace que tu día comience de manera perfecta. Cuando estuve en Londres descubrí este excelente lugar situado en uno de los pueblos más lindos aledaño a la ciudad, el legendario Notting Hill un lugar dotado de una bella arquitectura de fachadas coloridas, tiendas y hermosos restaurantes como este: Farm Girl Cafe situado en la calle Portobello te ofrece una comida súper deliciosa, un caluroso ambiente y una deco inigualable digna de Pinterest o de Instagram. Así que si algún día se encuentran de visita en Londres no pueden dejar de visitar este hermoso lugar.
