Hello my "Walk-ins" 

I'm back in Montreal and a little surprised by how nice the weather has been these past couple of weeks. I can't really complain about it! But I know winter is not over yet and here in Canada March and April can be such a cold months. In the meantime, I enjoyed my beautiful Montreal over the weekend walking around, discovering new stores and discovering local designers new collections. So because the weather was so nice last weekend I put on one of my fave sweatshirt (from Style Mafia), boyfriend jeans and my new grey suede and comfy Made-in-Italy botties from Le Château. Here some pictures of my look. Hope you like it!

Estoy de regreso en Montreal y muy sorprendida por el clima tan cálido que hemos tenido en estas últimas semanas. No me puedo quejar para nada aunque en el fondo sé que el invierno no se ha acabado y que los meses de marzo y abril pueden ser bastante fríos aquí en Canadá. Pero mientras tanto, aproveché el sol y el buen clima para ir a dar una vuelta por mi hermosa Montreal, visitar algunas tiendas y descubrir las colecciones de algunos diseñadores locales. Y como la temperatura estaba tan agradable pude lucir mi suéter favorito (de Style Mafia), unos boyfriend jeans y mis nuevas botas grises y super cómodas de Le Château hechas en Italia. Aquí les dejo algunas imágenes de mi atuendo. Espero les guste! ;)

Hello my "Walk-ins"

I started this rainy Sunday in the City with a brunch in Soho. It's always a good idea to have a big breakfast before the runways begin because you might not be able to grab something to eat until the end of the day. Time flies when you're having fun! 

On this NYFW Day 4 I attended the runways of designers Marcel Ostertag, Leanne Marshall and Vivienne Hu. Their designs were outstanding. I will talk to you more about them later on. 

This Sunday I wore exclusively pieces from the Canadian brand Le Château. To create my outfit I chose pieces from their Spring 17 collection now available at stores and Online. I put on a very comfortable black pants, a black cami, a beautiful and sleek white jacket to give a touch of elegance to the outfit and a pair of comfy black booties perfect to walk around Soho. I also wore a trendy black trench coat to protect me against the rain. I decided to pull my fishnets tights above the top of my pants, a trend that I saw first during Paris Fashion Week on the John Galliano's runway and that have been recently adopted by Dior too, to give the outfit a little edge. The beautiful small cross body mini bag was perfect to carry on the few cards and make up that I had with me. Here some images of my outfit. Hope you like it! ;)

Este domingo lluvioso lo comencé con un brunch en la ciudad de New York. Siempre es una buena idea tomar un buen desayuno antes de los desfiles porque nunca sabes cuando vas a tener tiempo para comer algo durante el día. Muchas veces pasarás todo el día entre desfiles y amigos y tu sabes que cuando estás haciendo lo que te gusta el tiempo pasa sin darnos cuenta. En este cuarto día de NYFW asistí a los desfiles de los diseñadores Marcel Ostertag, Leanne Marshall y Vivienne Hu espectaculares colecciones de las cuales les hablaré más adelante. 

Este día llevé exclusivamente piezas de la colección de Primavera 2017 de Le Château que a propósito se encuentra ya disponible en sus tiendas y en línea. Para crear este outfit escogí unos lindos y confortables pantalones negros, una cami negra, un jacket blanco para darle un toque de elegancia al outfit y por último unos botines negros muy cómodos perfectos para correr entre shows. También llevé un trench coat negro para protegerme de la lluvia. Decidí darle un toque contemporáneo al look así que llevé unas medias de malla más arriba del pantalón una tendencia que descubrí primero en París durante el desfile de John Galliano y que últimamente se ha visto también en las pasarelas de Dior y otros grandes diseñadores. Este lindo mini bolso que llevo estuvo genial para llevar my maquillaje y los demás esenciales que necesitaba. Aquí les dejo algunas imágenes de mi look. Espero les guste! ;)

NYFW Day 2 wearing Bestseller Canada

The weather on NYFW day 2 was totally different from day 1. After having a huge snow storm on Thursday, on Friday we were enjoying awesome temperatures in the upper teens. It was windy and rainy but we couldn't complain about it! This day I had the chance to attend the runways of Canadian designer Dan Liu, Chinese designer LAN YU and Turkish designer Hakan Akkaya in the Skylight Clarkson Square in Washington Street in Soho. I really enjoy the Fashion Week days where you can see creators from different parts of the world present their vision of Fashion through their collections. 

On Day 2, I wore exclusively pieces from Bestseller Canada  I put on a grey super comfy pant, a white t-shirt, a peach bomber jacket and a trendy pair of black booties, pieces from the Spring 17 Bestseller collection. I loved how comfy and elegant I felt with this sporty and super chic outfit. Here some pictures of my look. Hope you like it! ;)

Como dicen por allí después de la tormenta siempre viene la calma. El Segundo día de NYFW fue todo lo contrario al Jueves y pudimos disfrutar de un clima clemente y una temperatura ideal de 15 grados. La poca lluvia que cayó no molestó en lo absoluto! Este día puede asistir a los desfiles de Dan Liu diseñador Canadiense, LAN YU diseñadora China y Hakan Akkaya diseñador Turco que se presentaron en el Skylight Clarkson Square en Washington Street en Soho. Me encantan estos días de Fashion Week donde puedes ver creadores de diferentes partes del mundo presentar su visión particular de la moda a través de sus colecciones. Para este día llevé exclusivamente piezas de Bestseller Canadá. Mi outfit sporty chic se compuso de un pantalón gris muy cómodo, una camiseta blanca, un bomber jacket rosado claro y unas botines negros, items que hacen parte de la nueva colección de primavera de Bestseller Canadá. Day one in Fashion Weeks is always a busy one and NYFW wasn't an exception to the rule this February. The snowy Thursday started with the awesome Nicholas K runway follow by the incredible fashion shows of Tadashi Shoji and Noon by Noor. I will talk about them in my next post and show you some of the designs that I loved in their collections. There was a Canadian kind of snow storm in the City that paralyzed schools and public transportation for a couple of hours but inside of me I knew that nothing would stop me from meeting Olivia Palermo at the Banana Republic x Olivia Palermo presentation. I have to confess that she's been my style crush since I started my Blog and that I was dying to meet her, talk to her and of course take a picture with the best in the business of Style. I couldn't miss this incredible opportunity to meet her and to know more about the new Banana Republic collection and the fave Olivia items from the collection. I worked for a couple of years in Banana Republic and I have always loved their style and great quality. I think Banana Republic and Olivia Palermo are the perfect match. I can't wait for Olivia's favourites pieces to hit stores in Canada. For this occasion I wanted an elegant but stand out outfit and I think I manage to get Olivia's attention because she said she loved it! Her comment just put the icing on the cake! What an incredible day. I wore jeans, a trumpet sleeves blouse, a long black vest and velvet booties (not ideal for snowy sidewalks but glamour comes first! Hehehe). Here some images of my outfit. El primer día de NYFW siempre es un día muy ocupado y para mi esta vez no fue la excepción. Tuve varios desfiles y presentaciones. Empecé con los desfiles de Nicholas K seguido por Tadashi Soji y Noon by Noor (Desfiles de los que les estaré hablando en mi próximo post) y finalicé el día con el evento más esperado del día: la presentación de Banana Republic x Olivia Palermo. Este día hubo una increíble tormenta de Nieve en NY pocas veces vista pero nada impidió que llegara a mi evento pues moría por conocer a Olivia, y además de poder cruzar unas cuantas palabras con ella y por supuesto tomar la foto obligatoria. Fue una oportunidad para conocer los ítems primaverales favoritos de este gran ícono de la moda y por supuesto no veo la hora de que lleguen a la tienda para tenerlos. Banana Republic es una de las marcas que siempre me ha gustado (a propósito les cuento que trabajé un par de años para esta empresa aquí en Montreal) y por supuesto Olivia es y siempre ha sido mi style crush. Por eso creo que es la mejor escogida como embajadora de esta marca. Para este primer día quise llevar un look casual chic y por supuesto stand out y creo que lo logré jaja! pues pude llamar la atención de Olivia quien admiró mi outfit inmediatamente me vio. La verdad me sentí muy halagada! Mi outfit fue blusa con mangas trompeta super trendy estos días, jeans y botines no muy adecuados para la tormenta de nieve pero ante todo el glamour Lol...
