Spring is finally here. Even thought we still have some small snow showers on the forecast we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. In the world of Fashion, spring means less clothes and more colours. Fashion designers celebrate the new season with powerful and beautiful collections. This time I had the opportunity to collaborate with one of the most talented and important fashion designers in Montreal: Marie Saint Pierre. 

Maison Marie Saint Pierre is a leading fashion house in Canada where we can find luxurious, refined and contemporary pieces designed and produced in Montreal. Recipient of numerous honours and awards, this designer that has been able to captivate Fashion lovers year after year with her collections. 

Last November during Art Basel, I had the chance to visit her beautiful store in Wynwood. An awesome boutique that represents perfectly her artistic vision of Fashion. You should definitely visit it when in Sunny Miami. And in Montreal her flagship store is located in the heart of downtown. 

Her elegant Spring SS17 is divided into two small capsules:  Neuf à Neuf that features jackets, pants, dresses, skirts in colours like black, grey, white, peach, with some beautiful flowers prints, stripes and some sexy transparencies. And Atelier which, exclusively in black and white, features sexy and bold pants, jackets and dresses. 

In today's look I'm wearing the beautiful and elegant Crownwell black jacket from the Atelier collection along with a black shirt/dress. The sleek design of the jacket perfectly match the softness and luxurious feel of the  fabrics. I could wear this jacket everywhere! Can you imagine a night out in Monaco wearing this outfit? La Primavera finalmente está llegando. Aunque todavía los meteorólogos nos anuncian algunas pequeñas nevadas creo que finalmente estamos viendo la luz al otro lado del túnel. En el mundo de la moda la Primavera significa menos ropa y más color. Los diseñadores celebran la nueva estación con hermosas y llamativas colecciones. Esta vez tuve la oportunidad de colaborar con una de las diseñadoras más importantes y talentosas de Montreal: Marie Saint Pierre.

La Maison Marie Saint Pierre es una de las casa de moda líderes en Canadá donde podemos encontrar lujosas, finas y modernas piezas diseñadas y fabricadas en Montreal. Merecedora de numerosos premios y honores, Marie Saint Pierre es una diseñadora capaz de sorprender y de cautivar los amantes de la moda con sus colecciones año tras año. 

En Noviembre pasado durante Art Basel tuve la oportunidad de visitar su hermosa tienda en Wynwood. Una excelente boutique que representa perfectamente su visión artística de la moda. Cuando estén de visita en Miami no se olviden de pasar por allí. Y aquí en Montreal su tienda principal se encuentra en todo el Centro de la ciudad.  Su elegante colección de Primavera 2017 está dividida en dos cápsulas: Neuf à Neuf que consiste en jackets, pantalones, vestidos, falsas en colores como el negro, gris, blanco, curuba e incluye aplicaciones florales, rayas y unas transparencias muy sensuales. Y Atelier que, exclusivamente en blanco y negro, nos presenta sexy y elegantes pantalones, jackets y vestidos. 

En el look de hoy estoy llevando un elegante jacket en color negro que pertenece a la cápsula Atelier junto con un vestido del mismo color. Los cortes y el diseño moderno del jacket se agencian de manera perfecta con su refinada tela. Podría ponerme este jacket para ir a todos lados! Se imaginan lucirlo durante una noche romántica en Mónaco? Sería perfecto! Aquí les dejo algunas fotos de mi look y esperen más outfits llevando la colección Primavera 2017 de esta diseñadora. Hello my "Walk-ins"

Today we woke up to temperatures raising to almost 10 degrees. And with no more snow in the sidewalks, it's the perfect time to change our booties for a more comfy pair of shoes. I saw this pair of lovely laser cut flats at Le Château last week and knew they were just perfect to go to brunch on weekends or to go out with your friends or just go shopping. Comfy and trendy shoes perfect for this transition period. Here some images of how I styled them. Hope you like it! ;)

Hoy nos despertamos con temperaturas de mas de 0 grados y que mejor ocasión para cambiar nuestras botas por zapatos un poco mas destapados. Cuando vi este modelo de zapato en Le Château me enamoré de inmediato. Pensé que serían perfectos para los fines de semana o para esos días de brunch, shopping y largas caminadas. Lindos, cómodos y super trendy estos zapatos son ideales para la época de transición. Aquí algunas imágenes de como los llevé hoy. Espero les guste! ;)

Hello my "Walk-ins"

I met Hayley a couple of years ago during WMCFW in Toronto and instantly fell in love with her creativity, unique pieces, her fun prints and mostly the vibrant colours of her collections. Based in Toronto, Hayley Elsaesser is one of the most in vogue designers here in Canada. Last February, I attended Hayley presentation during New York Fashion Week to discover her new collection. When I knew I was going to cover TWFW I immediately thought about doing a photoshoot wearing Hayley pieces. When I arrived at her store on Queen Street in downtown Toronto I realize that it was going to be very difficult to choose just one look. With all the amazing prints and the trendy colours I wanted to have them all. Finally I ended up creating three different outfits. In today's outfit I'm wearing a beautiful yellow dress with scissors print, a choker and playful sunglasses from the Hayley Collection too and I put on my YSL handbag to add a touch of elegance to the look. Conocí a esta diseñadora en Toronto durante WMCFW unos años atrás y la verdad me impactó la originalidad de sus prendas, sus estampados y sobre todo sus colores vibrantes. Hayley Elsaesser es una diseñadora basada en Toronto y una de las mas reconocidas creadoras de moda aquí en Canadá. El mes pasado tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la presentación de su colección durante New York Fashion Week y luego cuando supe que iría a cubrir la Toronto Women Fashion Week inmediatamente pensé en la posibilidad de hacer un photoshoot vistiendo las prendas de esta diseñadora, pero a la hora de ir a escogerlas en su tienda ubicada en Queen Street in downtown Toronto fue un poco difícil pues me enamoré de la colección entera y sobre todo de los estampados tan tendencia en este momento, la idea inicial era hacer un solo look pero salí con tres, Oups! Aquí les muestro el primer look, este vestido amarillo con estampados de tijeras el cual adapté muy bien a mi estilo llevándolo con los accesorios perfectos como estas gafas y choker de la misma marca y mi adorado bolso YSL que no me puede faltar a la hora de darle un toque chic a mis atuendos. Vivienne Hu FW17 #NYFW

Every season the Vivienne Hu runway is one of the shows that enjoy the most. Her modern and elegant pieces never disappoint me. I could easily wear any of her pieces for important meetings or just to feel chic and confident in my everyday life. Vivienne Hu FW 17 collection was inspired by "the architecture and lifestyle of Manhattan, embodying the tough albeit welcoming city life". She said of her collection: “I want this collection to epitomize the strength, individuality, and determination worn by a strong New Yorker as she rushes to meet her next challenge.” The Fashion show started with a music performance by country singer Aubrie Sellers follow by the runway where we saw all the  different looks that included leather jackets, pants, long coats with lines prints and flattering cuts and some super sexy dresses. The colour palette included black, burgundy, military green, beige, camel, white and some pop of red.  Definitely pieces that invites to own the streets as if they were runways! Cada temporada el desfile de Vivienne Hu es uno de mis desfiles favoritos. Sus piezas modernas y elegantes nunca desilusionan.  Podría fácilmente llevar sus diseños para una reunión importante o en mi diario vivir solo para sentirme elegante y segura de mi misma. La colección FW17 de Vivienne Hu se inspiró de : "La arquitectura y el estilo de vida de Manhattan que incorpora lo duro pero acogedor de la gran ciudad". Ella dijo: "Yo quiero que esta colección personifique la fuerza, la individualidad y la determinación que manifiesta la Neoyorquina, cuando corre a enfrentar su próximo reto"  El desfile comenzó con una presentación musical de la cantante country Aubrie Sellers después se inició el desfile donde pudimos apreciar los diferentes looks que incluyeron jackets de cuero, pantalones, abrigos largos con estampados de líneas y cortes que realzan la figura y algunos vestidos súper sensuales. La paleta de colores incluyó el negro, el burgundy, el verde militar, el beige, el camel, el blanco y algunos toques rojos. Definitivamente una colección que te invita a adueñarte de las calles y a convertirlas en tu pasarela. Aquí les dejo algunas imágenes. Espero les guste! ;)

One of the best things about Fashion Weeks is the opportunity to discover new designers, new styles and new approaches to fashion. In today's post I want to talk about two designer whose runways I attended for the first time this February. I fell in love their collections! First let's talk about Turkish Designer Hakan Akkaya who has been labeled as the New ‘Cool-Kid’ Of American Fashion. His all black collection entitled "Freedom" presented pieces for both men and women. The sporty but chic pieces included evening dresses, slim leg pants and asymmetric tops. Even though black dominated the collection details of silver zippers, velvets, denim and metallic fabrics make the collection rich and interesting.  

I also attended for the first the runway of the internationally recognized Chinese-born designer Lan Yu’s. LANYU FW 17 collection was inspired by the architecture, natural beauty and serene canals of her mother's hometown Suzhou. The collection showcased oversized coats, dresses, jackets andantes in luxurious fabrics such as jewelled tweed, marled wool, cashmere and silk on velvet with touches of leather and metal.

Una de las mejores cosas de Fashion Week es poder descubrir nuevos diseñadores, nuevos estilos y nuevas formas de ver la Moda. En el post de hoy les quiero hablar de dos talentosos creadores donde pude asistir por primera vez a sus desfiles y que me enamoraron con sus colecciones. Primero quiero hablarles del diseñador turco Hakan Akkaya a quien han designado como el nuevo "cool-Kid" de la Moda Norte Americana. Su colección llamada "Libertad" presentó piezas para hombres y mujer. Las deportivas pero muy chic piezas incluyeron vestidos de noche, pantalones ajustados al cuerpo y tops asimétricos. Aunque la colección fue dominada por el color negro, detalles de cierres plateados, terciopelo, jean y telas metálicas hicieron la colección aún más interesante.   

También tuve la oportunidad de asistir al desfile de la reconocida diseñadora china LANYU. La colección FW17 de esta diseñadora fue inspirada en la arquitectura, la belleza al natural y los canales serenos de la ciudad de Suzhou, donde nació su madre. Esta presentó abrigos oversized, vestidos, pantalones y jackets en telas lujosas como jewelled tweed, lana, cashmere, seda y terciopelo con aplicaciones de cuero y metal.  

Dos diseñadores súper talentosos de los cuales seguramente seguiremos escuchando hablar en los próximos años. Aquí les dejo algunas imágenes de sus colecciones. Espero les guste! ;)
