Vivienne Hu FW16 at NYFW

Hello my "Walk-ins"

I always love to attend Vivienne Hu fashion shows.  For the last two seasons her runway has taken place at the cool Art Beam in Chelsea, NY. A great place to watch awesome fashion. Vivienne Hu FW 16 collection was amazing! The designs were elegant and chic with an urban New York City touch and a bunch of Asian exotic details. The collection also showcased five sexy and delicate lingerie garments, the result of a partnership between Vivienne Hu and the leading Chinese underwear company AtoG.

The collection included off shoulders dresses, long and short skirts, oversize pants, jackets and shirts. The designs featured a lot of geometric forms, different textures and materials, layering and prints. Even though the main tones on the collection were black, white and grey we also noticed some pop of colour (red, blue and purple). I definitely would be thrilled to wear one of Vivienne Hu designs some day. Here some images of her runway. Hope you like it! ;)

Siempre me ha encantado asistir a los desfiles de Vivienne Hu  Las dos últimas temporadas el desfile se ha realizado en el cool Art Beam en Chealsea, NY. Un lugar perfecto para observar sus lindos diseños. La colección FW16 de Vivienne Hu estuvo espectacular como siempre. Los diseños eran elegantes y chic con un toque New Yorkino urbano y con muchos detalles exóticos asiáticos. La colección también incluyó cinco sexys diseños de lingerie que resultaron de la colaboración entre Vivienne Hu y la compañía AtoG, empresa líder en ropa íntima en China.

La colección incluyó vestidos off shoulders, faldas largas y minifaldas, pantalones anchos, jackets y blusas. Los diseños generalmente en forma geométrica, presentaron diferentes texturas, materiales, layering y hermosos estampados. Aunque la gama de colores principal variaba entre blanco, negro y gris pudimos observar algunos toques de color sobre todo rojo, azul y morado. Definitivamente me encantaría algún día llevar alguno de los hermosos diseños de esta diseñadora. Aquí algunas imágenes del desfile. Espero les guste! ;)

I spent Easter weekend in one of my favourite places in the world: New York City. With Spring upon us the weather starts to change and we reach those perfect temperatures to walk around the city that never sleeps. Last beautiful sunny Saturday I went walking in Soho, there are so many hidden gems in this place that it seems impossible to know them all. I went for brunch at Tiny's before exploring the streets and doing some shopping. For this day I chose a spring nautical outfit and I put on my new chic and shiny kicks from GEOX. These shoes are amazing and super comfy to walk around for hours. Here some images of my day! Hope you like it! ;)

El fin de semana pasado estuve en una de mis ciudades favoritas: New York City. Con la Primavera que ya está bien instalada allí las temperaturas comienzan a ser ideales para salir a caminar en esta ciudad que nunca duerme. Por eso en ese soleado sábado de Marzo me fui de paseo por Soho. Hay tantos hermosos lugares que descubrir en esta área que a veces parece que nunca seré capaz de conocerlos todos. Comencé por ir a brunch a el restaurante Tiny's para luego recorrer varios rincones y hacer algunas compras. El atuendo que escogí este día, un look náutico primaveral que complementé con mis nuevos shiny chic tenis de GEOX. Estos zapatos son increíblemente confortables y perfectos para caminar por horas. Aquí les dejo algunas fotos de mi día. Espero les guste! ;)

Evening of beauty and ballet with L'Oréal Canada

Hello my "Walk-ins" 

This month I was invited by L'Oréal Canada to enjoy a beautiful evening of beauty and ballet. The evening started with a rendez-vous at Salon Orbite where we were spoiled with beauty treatments. We had the opportunity to try the new Steampod and the Pro-FIBER products from L'Oréal Professionnel. Expert hairstylists treated our hairs and left them incredibly smooth and shiny. The new professional and high-tech steam hair straightening iron Steampod left our hairs so sleek that I couldn't believe my eyes. After learning about the amazing new L'Oréal products a limousine picked us up and took us to Place des Arts for a night at the ballet. It was an incredible evening where I could enjoy Les Grandes Ballets Canadiens de Montreal for the first time and participate at Les Jeunes Gouverneurs 4th Annual Benefit Evening. We finished the night with a fun after party. Just a perfect evening made possible by L'Oréal Canada. Here some images of the event. Hope you like it! ;)

Hace un par de semanas estuve invitada por L'Oréal Canada a pasar una noche de belleza y ballet y la verdad fue una experiencia increíble. Comenzamos por ir al salón Orbite donde tuve la oportunidad de probar los nuevos productos de la línea Steampod de L'Oréal Professionnel y por supuesto pasar por los expertos del salón para que me peinaran y me dejarán el cabello brillante y sedoso con la súper nueva Steampod de L'Oréal, una tecnología que deja el cabello ultraliso. Luego de una tarde muy agradable en el salón y sintiéndome súper bella y "confident" siguió la tarde de "star", una limusina nos esperaba para llevarnos a disfrutar del espectáculo del ballet de Montreal. Fue una noche inolvidable y estaba súper emocionada de poder asistir por primera vez a ver Les Grandes Ballets Canadiens de Montreal y además de participar en Les Jeunes Gouverneurs 4th Annual Benefit Evening, no sin antes disfrutar de un cóctel. Luego terminamos con un after party para un cierre de noche maravilloso. Todo esto fue posible gracias a L'Oreal Canada. Aquí las imágenes de esta agradable jornada. Espero les guste! ;)

Love that Bag is a Montreal company that I love because it offers you the opportunity to buy luxury handbags in excellent condition and at reasonable prices. When they asked me to collaborate with them I couldn't resist! How to say "no" to wear and style dreamy handbags? How to say "no" to Chanel, Celine or Hermes?? Impossible..! I have to confess that I was a little stressed out when choosing the outfits. It was difficult to figure out which pieces, colours, layers or prints to wear accordingly to each bag. But at the end everybody was more than happy with the result and I was really proud of myself! :) Here some images of my looks and how I styled them with these awesome handbags. Love that Bag es una compañía de Montreal que me encanta por el servicio que ofrece. Poder encontrar bolsos de lujo a precio abordable es una ventaja que conviene a todos los presupuestos. Cuando me ofrecieron colaborar con ellos y poder lucir bolsos de las marcas de mis sueños fue un "Si" inmediato. Chanel, Celine y Hermes que más podría pedir?? Les confieso que al principio estaba un poco estresada a la hora de escoger los atuendos que iba a lucir con estos hermosos bolsos y además con que color de ropa combinarlos, quería que todo saliera perfecto y bueno modestia aparte creo que lo conseguí. HERVE LEGER BY MAX AZRIA FW16 at NYFW

I've always been a big fan of Hervé Léger by Max Azria. I especially love how their dresses fit and how elegant you look when you put them on. No wonder why so many actresses and personalities choose them for their more important events. So when I received the invitation to attend their Fashion show at NYFW I was more than excited.  Hervé Léger collections are known for their elegance, classic sex appeal and high quality materials and craftsmanship. For their Fall 16 collection, Lubov Azria preserved the same characteristics but with a new provocative and alternative edge. She injected a seductive punk vibe to their signature bandage dresses adding grommets, chains and fringe. The collection also included multiple textures, colours and interesting jacquards. Les cuento que siempre he sido una gran admiradora de Hervé Léger by Max Azria. Me encanta como sus vestidos se ajustan perfectamente al cuerpo y lo elegante que te hacen ver cuando los vistes. Por eso son siempre privilegiados por las actrices para asistir a sus eventos más importantes. Así que me puse super feliz cuando recibí la invitación para asistir a su desfile durante NYFW. Las colecciones de Hervé Léger son famosas por su elegancia, sensualidad clásica y por la gran calidad de sus materiales y de la confección. Para la colección Otoño 2016 Lubov Azria, diseñadora y directora creativa, conservó estas mismas características pero le dio un toque provocador y alternativo. Azria inyectó un aire punk a sus famosos vestidos bandage agregando elementos como ojales, cadenas, picos y flecos. La colección también mostró diferentes texturas, colores y jacquards interesantes.
