Hello my "Walk-ins" 

I arrived in London for Fashion Week in the morning after a 6 hour flight and even though I was quite tired and jet lagged I couldn't go to sleep. I needed to see this magical city as soon as possible. So I decided to go for a walk to Piccadilly Circus knowing that most of the Fashion action would be taking place over there. I was really enchanted with all the movement, the buildings, the red buses, the stores around Piccadilly and I was so happy that I put on my comfy GEOX black sneakers boots because I wanted to go everywhere and see as much as possible. Finally I got tired and went home to sleep to be ready for day of LFW. Here some pictures of my look next to a legendary London Red Box! Hope you like it!;)

Llegue a Londres para asistir a la Semana de la Moda después de seis horas de vuelo. Aunque estaba bastante cansada y el cambio de horario me afectó un poco no pude irme a dormir. Tenía demasiadas ganas de visitar esta mágica ciudad lo más pronto posible. Así que decide irme a caminar a Piccadilly Circus pues sabía que la mayoría de los eventos de la semana de la moda de Londres se llevarían acabo en esta zona de la ciudad. Me encantó la gran cantidad de gente caminando, los típicos buses rojos, la arquitectura y por supuesto todas las tiendas que se encuentran en este lugar. Agradecí haberme puesto mis nuevas botas súper cómodas de GEOX porque camine durante varias horas. Finalmente la noche cayó y ya me encontraba muy cansada así que me fui a descansar para estar lista para el primer día de LFW. Aquí les dejo algunas fotos de mi outfit que tome junto a una de las famosas cabinas de teléfono rojo de Londres. Espero les guste! ;)

New York Fashion Week is definitely one of my favourites events. Not only you get to witness the collections of the biggest Fashion Houses but you also get to spend a week in this fabulous city. I never have enough time to do all the things that I want. I have to run from one show to another, do photoshoots, go to after parties, spend time with friends (fortunately most of my friends in the citiy are bloggers so we get to spend time together during the shows!) and of course discover those new hot spots for brunch, lunch, dinner and most important shopping. For the shows that I had that day I wanted to feel confident and chic so I chose a trendy silver metallic skirt, a black body suit and a black "bomber" shirt and to complete the outfit I put on my new lace-up shoes from Le Château. La Semana de la Moda de New York es definitivamente uno de mis eventos favoritos. No solamente tienes la oportunidad de ver las colecciones de las grandes marcas sino que además puedes pasar una semana en la increíble ciudad de New York. Yo nunca tengo tiempo suficiente de hacer todos las cosas que quiero. Tengo que correr de un show al otro, hacer photoshoots, ir a los After Parties, salir con amigos (afortunadamente la mayoría de ellos son bloggers así que nos vemos bastante durante los desfiles!) y por supuesto descubrir los nuevos lugares de moda para ir a brunch, a comer y claro está para ir de compras. Para asistir a los desfiles quería vestir algo que me hiciera sentir segura de mí misma y chic así que opte por esta trendy falda metálica, un bodysuit negro y una camisa "bomber" que complemente con mis nuevos zapatos lace-up de Le Château. The month of September has been a pretty busy and pretty fabulous for me. Since I started my blog I wanted to attend the four major fashion weeks in the world and it's happening. I will be in New York, London, Milan and Paris witnessing Fashion in these iconic places. So when preparing my bags and looking for things I needed for this long trip I knew I couldn't leave without my sudio wireless earphones. El mes de septiembre ha sido excitante y fabuloso para mí. Cuando empecé mi Blog siempre tuve el sueño de poder asistir a las cuatro semanas de la moda más importantes del mundo y este mes ese sueño se va a convertir en una realidad. Este mes estaré en New York, Londres, Milán y París siendo testigo de lo que pasa en el mundo de la moda en estos increíbles lugares. #NYFW: Supima Design Competition

The Supima Design Competition is one of my favourites runways because it gives us the occasion to appreciate the talent of emergent designers in the United States. Supima is America's luxury cotton. The Supima brand designates an elite variety of Pima cotton grown only in California and the southwestern U.S. Supima offers talented designers from six Fashion Schools in the US a once in a life time opportunity to showcase their collections in NYFW, one of the most important Fashion rendez-vous on the planet. This year the annual competition featured six incredibly gifted designers: Duston Jasso, Jiyeon Lee, Kara Michelle Kroeger, Jacqueline Zeyi Chen, Jacob Blau and Jeffrey Taylor. They also had the opportunity to work with renowned fashion designer Bibhu Mohapatra who helped and advised them on their collections. The competition was again hosted by the beautiful Olivia Culpo who did an excellent job as usual. The winner of this year edition was Jeffrey Taylor from SCAD. I'm pretty positive we will be hearing more about him in the years to come. My special congrats to all the participants, it was a wonderful Fashion show! Here some pictures of the runway. La Competencia de Diseño de Supima es uno de mis desfiles favoritos porque nos permite apreciar el talento de los diseñadores de moda emergentes en los Estados Unidos. Supima es una compañía que produce algodón de lujo y de calidad superior que crece exclusivamente en California y en el suroeste de Estados Unidos. Supina le brinda una oportunidad única a diseñadores talentosos de seis escuelas de moda en Estados Unidos para que presenten sus colecciones en New York Fashion Week una de las semanas de la moda más importantes del planeta. Los participantes a la edición 2016 de la competencia fueron: Duston Jasso, Jiyeon Lee, Kara Michelle Kroeger, Jacqueline Zeyi Chen, Jacob Blau and Jeffrey Taylor. Los participantes tuvieron también la oportunidad de trabajar y de recibir consejos y tips del reconocido diseñador Bibhu Mohapatra. El show fue presentado por la carismática Olivia Culpo que como siempre realizó un excelente trabajo. El ganador de la competencia este año fue Jeffrey Taylor de la Universidad SCAD. Seguro que seguiremos escuchando hablar de este nuevo prodigio de la moda. #NYFW: Noon by Noor Spring 17

Fell in love with this brand last February during NYFW. I had again again this season the privilege of covering Noon by Noor Fashion show. It took place at the beautiful Skylight Clarkson Square in Soho. The beautiful and romantic Noon by Noor Spring 17 collection features a series of dresses, pants, jackets and blouses. Using lightweight materials the designs fit very airy  just perfect to walk on an typical April or May afternoon looking chic and confident. I can actually picture myself wondering in the streets of Montreal's Old Port with the White Orrin mesh bomber and the white Fifi payette romper. The color palette is fresh and light in pale pink, salmon, antique gold, luminous white and black. Notable attendees to the show included British model Alexa Chung and model and DJ Leight Lezark. Me enamore de esta marca desde febrero pasado que tuve la oportunidad de asistir a su desfile. Esta vez tuve el privilegio de cubrir nuevamente la presentación de Noon by Noor en NYFW. El desfile se llevó a cabo en el lindo Skylight Clarkson Square en Soho. La hermosa y romántica colección de Primavera 2017 de Noon By Noor presentó diferentes piezas incluyendo vestidos, blusas, pantalones y jackets. Usando materiales ligeros las prendas tienen un fit suelto que te permitirán lucir elegante y segura en ti misma durante las tardes primaverales de Abril y Mayo. Yo por ejemplo me veo caminando por las calles del viejo puerto de Montreal luciendo el White Orrin mesh bomber y el white Fifi payette romper. 

La paleta de colores es fresca y clara en rosado pálido, salmón, oro antiguo, blanco luminoso y negro. Entre las celebridades que estuvieron presentes en el desfiles se encontraban la modelo británica Alexa Chung y la models y DJ Leight Lezark. #NYFW: My Day 1 & Nicholas K SS17

I love September! And this year it's even more special for me because I will be attending the Four Major Fashion Weeks in the world  (New York, London, Milan and Paris). Five years ago I started my Blog with the big and crazy dream of seeing the Fashion around the world and today with my heart full of excitement I can say that this dream comes true! 

So my first stop will be in my beloved New York City. Always eclectic The Big City is the place where anything can happen. It's always an awesome experience to discover and rediscover designers through their collections in #NYFW. The first day of my New York Fashion journey was pretty intense. In total I attended 7 shows and had to literally run from Manhattan to Soho to Chelsea and back to Manhattan. At the end of the day I was really tired but couldn't be happier.  My first show was Nicholas K. It's the second time I have been invited to their show and I can assure you that the siblings never disappoint. Nicholas K SS17 presented a bold set of long and short sensual dresses, jackets, blouses and pants that displayed sophistication and elegance. Colours included Camel (omnipresent) and also some tones of army green, beige, black and silver. The collection gave me the feeling of "A typical day on Safari"  and the tunic dresses are to die for. Also love the fact that these are designs that you could actually wear to any event or even to a job meeting. I will love to wear them next Spring and  Summer! Me encanta Septiembre! Y este año es aún más especial porque estaré asistiendo a las cuatro semanas de la moda más importantes del mundo (New York, Londres, Milán y París). Uno de mis sueños cuando inicié mi Blog fue el de algún día poder ver la moda alrededor del mundo y aunque hace cinco años me parecía imposible hoy con el corazón lleno de alegría puedo decir que este sueño es una realidad. 

Mi Primera parada es en mi querida ciudad de New York. Esta inmensa ciudad es el lugar donde todo puede suceder. Es siempre una experiencia increíble la de descubrir y redescubrir los diseñadores a través de las colecciones que presentan durante #NYFW. Mi primer día de Fashion Action fue bastante intenso. Asistí a un total de 7 desfiles corriendo de Manhattan a Soho luego a Chelsea para finalmente terminar en Manhattan. Al final del día estaba super cansada pero super feliz. Mi primer show fue el de Nicholas K. Esta es la segunda vez que soy invitado a su desfile y como siempre les aseguro que los hermanos nunca decepcionan. La colección de Nicholas K SS17 mostró una serie de sensuales vestidos largos y cortos, jackets, blusas y pantalones de una gran sofisticación y elegancia. Como colores predominó el camel pero también pudimos ver verde militar, beige, negro y plateado. La colección me hizo pensar a un día de Safari y los vestidos túnicas son espectaculares, podría usarlos toda la primavera y el verano sin ningún problema. Además me encanta que estos diseños se pueden portar fácilmente  para eventos o incluso hasta para una importante reunión de trabajo. Y para terminar los sombreros que llevaron las modelos estuvieron geniales! Aquí les dejo algunas imágenes de su colección SS17. Espero les guste! ;)
