Hello my "Walk-ins"

I think I will be wearing Puffer Jackets all winter long! They are so comfortable and so cool that every time that I have to go out I finish putting them on. 

I have them on yellow and red and I really believe bright colours are taking the streets by storm. It's good to add some colour to the eternal black and grey tones of winter. Here I'm wearing my Yellow Puffer Jacket that I matched with sweat pants from the J. Balvin Vibras Collection along with my favourite bright lights shoes! Hope you like it! :)

Yo creo que me voy a poner Puffer Jackets todo el Invierno! Son tan confortables y cool que cada vez que voy a salir termino escogiendo alguno. Los tengo en amarillo y rojo y creo que estas coloridos prendas se van a tomar las calles estos próximos meses. 

Siempre es bueno ponerle un poco de color a los eternos blancos y grises de los meses de enero y febrero. Hoy estoy llevando my Puffer Jacket amarillo con una sudadera de la colección Vibras de J. Balvin y mis zapatos de luces favoritos! Espero les guste! ;)

Winter is upon us and we have no choice but to face the music! I wish I could stay home and go out again next March or maybe spend the next two months in an exotic Island in the Caribbean. But because it may not happen I need some good clothes to fight the cold and I need to do it in style.

Colourful Bomber Jackets are pretty in vogue this Winter and I got a cozy red one. It's perfect to go out on sunny cold days where you have to run errands and want to look casual and stay warm at the same time. I matched my red GAP bomber jacket with jeans, a grey Champion hoodie and a pair of statement booties from Aldo. Here some images. Hope you like it! ;)

Ya llegó el invierno y no nos queda otra opción que enfrentarlo! Desearía poder quedarme encerrada y solo volver a salir en Marzo o tal vez irme durante dos meses a una Isla paradisíaca en el mar Caribe. Pero como muy probablemente no sera posible,  mejor encontrar unos buenas piezas que me puedan proteger del frío y que además me permitan hacerlo con estilo.

Los Bomber Jackets coloridos están muy de moda este invierno así que escogi uno rojo que además es muy calientico. Es perfecto para salir en esos típicos días soleados de invierno donde tienes que hacer diligencias y quieres estar casual pero sentirte bien abrigada. Combiné mi bomber jacket rojo de GAP con jeans, un hoodie gris de Champion y unas lindas botas de invierno de Aldo. Aquí las imágenes. Espero les guste! ;)

We are getting closer to the end of the year but the weather on the month of December has been better than I expected.

For almost a week we've been having Fall-like temperatures which are great for going out and shooting outfits. With the streets still without any snow, I decided to shoot these beautiful boots that I found at Le Château.

These stylish Made-in-Italy burgundy booties are so comfy and so easy to match with different outfits that I knew I needed them on my Walk-in. In today's outfit I matched  them with a leather pleated skirt, a t-shirt and a teddy coat. Here are some images. Hope you like it! ;)

Cada vez nos acercamos más al fin del año, eso quiero decir que cada día hace mas frío, pero tengo que decir que las temperaturas que hemos tenido este mes de Diciembre aquí en Montreal han estado mucho mejor de lo que esperaba.

Por casi una semana hemos podido disfrutar de temperaturas otoñales las cuales hacen muy agradable salir a pasear y tomar fotos. Con las calles todavía sin nieve decidí hacer entonces unas fotos con estas lindas botas que encontré en Le Château.

Estas estilizadas botas vinotinto hechas en Italia son tan confortables y tan fáciles de combinar con cualquier atuendo que sabía que las necesitaba en mi Walk-in. En el outfit de hoy las combiné con una falda plisada de cuero, una camiseta y un teddy coat. Aquí les dejo algunas imágenes. Espero les guste! ;)

A delightful night in the delicious restaurant Asado

Last week I had the pleasure to discover a new restaurant in Montreal: Asado Located on Griffintown on the vibrant Notre Dame Street, Asado offers an exquisite menu inspired on the Fire and Grills of South America. After many years looking for a good restaurant with a menu inspired on Latin American flavours, I was really excited to finally find Asado.

The food was delicious and the ambience was relax and festive. We started with two exotic cocktails El Mateo and El San Pepino. As appetizers we ordered Tostada Tartare, Ceviche Tiradito and the delicious Humitas Dip, you can't go wrong with any of these choices. Our main dishes were the Salmon which is lightly smoked and served with fresh vegetables and the Hanger Steak with a chimichurri yogourt and salsa criolla. Both were exquisite!



We finished our lovely evening with yummy Churros served with caramelized Pineapple purée and Dulce de Leche. It was a delightful night in a delicious restaurant. Asado is a spot in Montreal that you definitely need to visit! Hope you like it! ;)

La semana pasada tuve el placer de descubrir un nuevo restaurante en Montreal: Asado  Ubicado en Griffintown en la vibrante calle Notre Dame, Asado ofrece un delicioso menu inspirado en las parrilladas de Suramérica. Después de muchos años buscando un buen restaurante inspirado en los sabores de America Latina estoy super contenta de poder encontrar Asado. La comida allí es deliciosa y el ambiente super festivo.

Como entradas pedimos Tostada Tartare Ceviche Tiradito y el delicioso Humitas Dip no se pueden equivocar con ninguno de estos platos. Como platos principales ordenamos Salmón que es asado ligeramente y servido con vegetales frescos y el Hanger Steak con chimichurri yogourt y salsa criolla.

Y para terminar esta agradable noche cerramos con unos riquísimos Churros con pure de piña caramelizado y Dulce de Leche como postre. La verdad fue una noche inolvidable en un delicioso restaurante. Definitivamente Asado es un lugar que no pueden dejar de visitar cuando se encuentren en Montreal. Espero les guste! ;)

Gold is the new black

One of the trends that caught my eye these past Fashion Weeks was the omnipresence of gold shades not only in clothing but also in shoes. It’s a trend that we will see in vogue for this Holiday season and also for Spring. That’s why I fell in love with these shiny gold booties that I found at Le Château. I will wear them as much as I can during the transition from Fall to Winter, on Christmas, on New Years Eve and next Spring! Let’s shine bright like a diamond... Hope you like it! ;)

Una de las tendencias que más cautivó mi atención durante las Semanas de la Moda de New York y Paris fue la omnipresencia del color dorado, no solo en ropa sino en zapatos. La verdad viene pisando fuerte para la Primavera 2019 así que no dudé en adquirir estos botines de la colección FW18 de Le Château cuando los vi en la tienda. Me los podré poner durante esta época de transición, luego para las Fiestas Navideñas y llevarlos hasta la Primavera. Así que chicas a brillar como diamantes... Every new season brings its new prints. For instance the past Spring and Summer we wore a lot of florals, polka dots and tropical foliage.

Now that Fall is upon us, we can easily notice animal prints everywhere and the leopard one seems to be winning the trendy war.

We see it on everything from dresses and jackets to pants and accessories. That's why I didn't hesitate when I saw these beautiful booties at Le Chateau.

These booties are super trendy, comfortable, dressy and the ruffle detail is everything. Get wild this Fall! Hope you like it! :)

Cada temporada trae sus propios estampados. Por ejemplo durante la Primavera y el Verano pasado vimos mucho estampados florales, polka dots e inspiraciones tropicales.

Ahora que el Otoño ha llegado hemos comenzado a observar estampados animales por todo lado y el de leopardo parece estar ganando la guerra de popularidad. Lo vemos en una gran variedad de prendes desde vestidos y jackets hasta en pantalones y accesorios.

Por todas estas razones no pensé dos veces cuando descubrí  estas hermosas botas en Le Chateau. Son super cómodas, elegantes, confortables y ademas el lindo detalle del ruffle las hace únicas.

Paris Fashion Week Highlights 2

Today I will talk to about two events that definitely were part of my top PFW moments. The first one was Rahul Mishra Fashion show. The Spring 2019 Ready-toWear-Collection runway took place at the elegant Mona Bismarck American Center.  As usual, the rich and dreamy creations of Mishra conquered the audience. The dresses, the blazers, the skirts mostly in white featured patterns and embroideries that told us how important are details in Mishra's collections.

Certainly these dresses would never go unnoticed. Later on, we witnessed some dresses on soft blue and yellow that brought even more life to an already excellent collection. Definitely a must-see show for me every September during PFW.

Something that I love about Paris Fashion Week is the opportunity not only to attend Fashion shows of renown designers but to discover the emerging ones.

I was invited to see some presentations at the Designers Apartment, an excellent platform that La Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode provides to young talented designers to showcase their talents. I found really interesting the collections of Proême de Paris, Savoar Fer, GNDR and Quoï Alexander, awesome talents that I invite you to check out.

I also had also the pleasure to meet Ludi Wang Head Designer of the New York Based brand HAUS VON M. I was completely blown away by her collection. The designs are bold, modern, made with High-quality/High-tech materials and the collection has a message of empowerment to women. It's everything you could ask for. It's a collection for Women with attitude! Totally me! I'm pretty sure you will be hearing about HAUS VON M sooner rather than later. Hope you like it! ;)

Hoy les voy a hablar de dos eventos que definitivamente hacen parte de mi Top Moments durante Paris Fashion Week. El primero fue el Fashion show de Rahul Mishra. El desfile de su colección Primavera-Verano 2019 se llevo a cabo en el elegante Mona Bismarck American Center, a solo unos pasos de la Torre Eiffel. Como siempre sus creaciones de ensueño conquistaron la audiencia. Los vestidos, los blazers y las faldas en su mayoría en blanco, presentaban patrones y bordados hechos a mano que demuestran la inclinación de Mishra hacia los detalles. Seguramente estos vestidos nunca podrán pasar desapercibidos. También observamos vestidos en azul claro y amarillo que vinieron a darle aun mas vida a una excelente colección. Definitivamente uno de los shows que no me puedo perder cada que vengo a PFW.

Algo que siempre me ha gustado de Paris Fashion Week es que no solamente tenemos la oportunidad de ver a los grandes diseñadores del mundo de la moda sino que también podemos descubrir quienes serán las nuevas caras de la industria. Me invitaron a unas presentaciones de The Designers Apartment una excelente plataforma creada por La Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode  que brinda a los jóvenes talentos la oportunidad de presentar sus colecciones durante PFW. Me encantaron las colecciones de Proême de Paris, Savoar Fer, GNDR y Quoï Alexander excelentes talentos que los invito a conocer mas profundamente.

También tuve el placer de conocer a Ludi Wang Directora Creativa de la marca basada en NYC  HAUS VON M. Esta marca me conquisto desde el primer momento que vi sus creaciones.

Los diseños son modernos, audaces, fabricados con materiales de alta calidad y con los ultimas avances tecnológicos y ademas la colección proyecta un mensaje de empoderamiento a las mujeres.

Tiene todo lo que buscas en una colección del 2018. Es una colección para mujeres con actitud, totalmente mi estilo! Estoy segura que escucharon hablar mucho de HAUS VON M en un futuro muy cercano. Espero les guste! :)
