Jimmy Choo brought a touch of enchantment to Milan Fashion Week with its Spring 2026 collection, presented in the secret garden courtyard of a palazzo. Guests entered a dreamlike setting, where oversized floral sculptures and natural groupings of plants set the tone for a show rooted in beauty and romance.
The collection revisits the elegance of the ’90s, with lace taking center stage as the key material. Soft pastels like yellow, pink, and pale green create a delicate palette, while textured crocodile skin introduces a bolder edge. The mix of lightness and strength reflects a modern idea of femininity: romantic, nature-inspired, yet undeniably confident.
From intricate lace detailing to refined accessories, Future Feminine feels like a celebration of both nostalgia and renewal.
Milan Fashion Week set the stage for a moment of nostalgia and reverence as Giuseppe Zanotti revisited one of his most iconic creations: The Slim. The designer presented half a dozen reinterpretations of the shoe that cemented its place in pop culture history, most memorably worn by Samantha Jones in Sex and the City.
The design’s story is as evocative as its silhouette. Conceived during a dinner at Slim, a seaside restaurant in Cesenatico beloved by the designer, The Slim emerged from a spontaneous sketch on a tablecloth. What began as a discarded fishbone was reimagined by Zanotti into a delicate jewel-like detail, draping with effortless sensuality across the foot.
Hosted within Zanotti’s Renaissance-style palazzo on Via Napoleone, the presentation balanced homage and innovation. The collection itself is made up of vibrant colours, jewelry details on the shoes, especially in gold, and many mule-style designs that I absolutely loved.
For Spring/Summer 2026, Anteprima teams up with Japanese sculptor Takahiro Iwasaki to blend art, geometry, and recycled materials into fashion. The collection, titled “Echoes of Transience”, transforms fragility into strength and finds beauty in imperfection.
Designer Izumi Ogino draws on Iwasaki’s meditative works to reimagine everyday pieces with light knits, translucent fabrics, and layered styling. Colors move from vivid blues, greens, yellows, and pinks to softer pastels and purples, with bright orange accents on sculptural helmets.
The lineup ranges from coats and reworked trenches to unisex bermudas, polo shirts, and knit skirts. Antreprima turned the runway into a poetic construction site of renewal and creativity.
